Mama Mia! (PG-13)

Mama Mia is an exciting film and musical. A young girl, Sophie, lives with her mother and is getting married soon. Sophie wanted her dad to be at her wedding, but her mother lives without a husband and there are three possible men that could be her father. Days before her wedding that her mother doesn't even know about yet,  Sophie sets out to find her real father. Throughout the movie, they sing songs from the artist ABBA. It is exciting and well-written!

Since me and my 13 year-old friends enjoyed it, I would definitely recommend this movie for young teens. It would also be enjoyable for 11- and 12- year olds. There are fun songs that everyone can sing along with, too!

This movie is rated PG-13 for some sex-related comments.

Stellan SkarsgĂ„rd Bill (Dad 1)

Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows (PG-13)

Sherlock Holmes was a fascinating sequel to its first movie.. Which I failed to watch before, but now plan to because the second movie was so interesting! Sherlock is on another exciting mission in London, this time to thwart the evil Professor Moriarty. He never ceases to surprise the audience with new problem-solving skills and an awesome "internal-thinking-in-slow-mo" sense. Sherlock Holmes and his trusted friend Mr. Watson (or whatnot) leave on an adventure that leads them through gypsies and casinos, wineries and lighthouses. I guarantee that if you have a craving for action, mystery and adventure, then you will love this movie.

I would watch this again and again because of the thrill it makes me feel, even though I am just the audience. I think you should only watch this movie if you are over 12 years old, because of violence, but most of the humor is targeted towards teens and adults.

This movie is rated PG-13
